Runes


  • Runes are used to upgrade armor.
  • You can only use runes that are linked to your primary profession.
  • You can only use one rune per piece of armor.
  • You can only use one rune of a specific attribute at a time.
  • If you use an Expert Salvage Kit or a Superior Salvage Kit on a piece of armor that has been upgraded with a rune, there is a chance that you may not recover the rune.
  • Runes of Vitae and Attunement are stackable; all other runs are non-stackable.
  • Health penalties from all equipped runes do stack.
  • Vigor, Absorption, and runes for the same attribute do not stack.
  • Headgear that provides +1 to an attribute does stack with runes.
  • Runes stack with armor bonuses, armor insignias, weapon upgrades, inscriptions, blessings, and skill effects.
