- Mighty Rabbi : I'll put it up on my google plus page. If you know someone that is a member let me know.
- Mighty Rabbi : Putting up a google plus posting. People keep adding me that I don't add back because I have no idea who they are. Then months later I find out they are havenites.
- Mighty Rabbi : We don't play diablo but we both got D3 digital downloads. Amanda wanted to try the Pandaran Monk so we bought beta access to it. That comes with a special mount and d3.
- Xpovos : I should have knocked on wood. There goes another. But it's definitely better.
- Reaver : not perfect... two got through.
- Xpovos : Well, it seems to be going fine. Congratulations Reaver. And of course to Rabbit and Amanda for four!

- Xpovos : Blizzard is trying very hard (and nearly successfully, shh, don't tell them that) to get me to come back to WoW. I've been away for 4+ years! That's a pretty sad state in itself, since it tells me how long it's been since we've been in decline.
- Aoife Fios : Clearly this website doesn't have the energy it had a few years ago. As much as I may want to cling to past pleasure, the site doesn't really seem to serve a function anymore, except to be somewhat depressing.
- Xpovos : At least there are the other means of communication that have grown up in popularity since we founded this site all those years ago. We can use those for most of the same purposes, though not quite.
- Reaver : agreed.
- Xpovos : It's getting harder. I have less free time and the cost is significant, so once our paid year expires the site will probably die.
- Aoife Fios : Looks like the forums are getting hit pretty hard. As much as I hate to admit it, I wonder if the site is worth maintaining.
- Reaver : If you see some things changing with the left panel... its just me.
- Xpovos : Who dares post non-spam?
- Point Man : You didn't hear it from me, but the beta shows that TOR is a lot of fun. Not that I would know. If I were in on the beta, I wold never violate the non-disclosure agreement.
- Aoife Fios : So what's the verdict on TOR? Worth it or not?
- Xpovos : Nah, it's usually trying to generate money too.
- Reaver : The only purpose of spam is to annoy.
- Aoife Fios : The spam is getting weirder and weirder. I don't even get it.
- Xpovos : As much press as the auction house is getting--and deservedly--my issue is still the lack of mod support. It's not like D2 supported the mods, but D3 is going to crush them. And the always connected model will enforce that nicely... plenty of other people are complaining about that. I don't like it either, 'nuff said.
- Reaver : I believe it.
- Aoife Fios : An amusing review in the NYTimes of Diablo III, calling it a cross between D&D and eBay. Looks like gaming can now be a job.
- Xpovos : Google+ > Facebook, IMO. I have a 'circle' for Lost Haven people, so if anyone else shows up we can communicate that way. In some ways it's probably better than the forums, given the uses we've put it to for the past year and change.
- Aoife Fios : Or a reasonable facsimile, anyway. I dunno about google+, besides, i think you sent me an invite already. Haven't had much time to think about it. Should I?

- Reaver : I think I read the same rumor. BTW you want to get an invite to Google+ ?
- Aoife Fios : There's a rumor that TOR is getting released in Nov. Wonder if that's true.
- Reaver : yes
- Xpovos : Anyone want Google Plus invites?
- Aoife Fios : No shortage of that elsewhere, I'm afraid.
- Reaver : neglecting what? the porn?
- Aoife Fios : Can't believe I've been neglecting this. But I have. Sob. I'll never do it again, I promise.

- Xpovos : Well, there's dead, and then there's mostly dead. What we have here is mostly dead. What have we got that's worth living for?
